“Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.” -Ambrose Redmoon
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.” -Eckhart Tolle Let 5 people know you how much you appreciate them and why. Although this suggestion is not solely geared toward the workplace, I would just like to point out that many business books that focus on people management will tell you that it’s been proven that employees’ performance improves when recognition is given often. Look for the good in what somebody is doing and praise them or reward them more than you look for the negative aspects to criticize them on. This will open them up to suggestions on how to do something better. It will make them feel valuable to the business so they want to put their best foot forward. Just a simple acknowledgement of someone’s efforts will go a long way. Likewise, many times in our personal lives we take people for granted, or we just go a long time without letting them know we appreciate all that they do. After several years, things just become a part of their responsibility or their role and we forget to say thank you. Even beyond people and relationships, acknowledging all the blessings in your life will set you up to receive more. If you don’t take the time to appreciate what you have, how can you expect to keep gaining? Gratitude is positive energy that attracts more of the same. Gratefulness attracts more joy, more love, more prosperity…abundance.

“You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could & should do for themselves.”
